Sri Lanka Tourism compiles a new ‘Calendar of Events’

Sri Lanka Tourism is in the process of compiling a calendar of events and is collecting information regarding events of interest to both Sri Lankans and visitors. Sri Lanka a land like no other, to many, is also land of treasures. Its abundance of greenery, natural beauty, the warmth of the people and the rich cultural heritage draws many to the destination. Most are repeat visitors, who look forward to, witnessing and participating in local events. These visitors seek to plan their holidays to coincide with happening events, and the proposed Sri Lanka Calendar of Events will be designed to assist them and other visitors to this exotic land. Sri Lanka is also world renowned for its people - their creativity, intelligence and resourcefulness. Some of whom work tirelessly at what they do and are doing their country proud, while pursuing their talents and passions, with very little exposure. Sri Lanka Tourism would like to showcase as many persons and events as possible on our website to give wide global coverage to those who do our country proud.
