Iran attends World Travel Fair

Mohsen Talayee, Iranian Ambassador to Japan, who attended the inauguration of JATA exhibition in Tokyo on Friday, said that inviting foreign tourists from all over the world to visit the numerous cultural and tourist spots in Iran is among major aims and objectives of Iran's taking part in JATA Fair.

He added that Iran's stands try to represent a mélange of the rich Persian civilization and Islamic culture.

Javad Kazemi, cultural attaché of the Iranian embassy in Japan, added that there are 12 Iranian travel Agencies present at the fair together with the Iranian Cultural Heritage Organization. He stated that by getting to know what really goes on in the country, Japanese tourists who travel to Iran, could neutralize Western propagandas against Iran in Japan.

JATA World Travel Fair aims at further developing tourism industry, particularly in Asia.
