Malekzadeh, a deputy of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, announced that 13 more offices would be launched this year. “Publicity is necessary for attracting tourists and boosting the country’s tourism industry. This is why we have established these offices with the help of our embassies,“ he said Presstv reported. Malekzadeh noted that locals with experience in managing travel agencies will run the centers. “Information offices will help remove any negative views about Iran, introduce the country as a safe vacation spot and boost tourism income,“ he said. Iran’s tourism information offices have been set up in Thailand, Oman, Pakistan, Greece, Turkey, Bahrain and Syria.
