Pacific Airlines ups fares while Vietnam Air awaits approval

Domestic fares for Pacific Airlines will be increased from March 1 and Vietnam Airlines is likely to follow suit, pending Ministry of Transport’s approval.

The Ministry of Transport has approved for both airlines, an increase in the ceiling price for an air ticket from VND1.5 million to VND1.7 million per flight.

Under the new prices, Pacific Airlines’ tickets are the lowest at VND1.45 million while their most expensive fare is VND1.55 million, one way, on the HCM City-Ha Noi route. The fare from HCM City and Ha Noi to Da Nang and back is VND980,000 each way. This does not include value added tax and airport fee.

Customers who bought their tickets before February 15 to travel from March 1 are not affected by this change provided they do not alter their flight schedules.
