Pakistan, Malaysia Sign MoU on Tourism Cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in tourism sector between the two countries.

The MoU was signed by Shahid Rafi, Secretary Tourism and Datuk Dr Victor Wec, Secretary General Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur, says a massage from Kuala Lumpur received here Monday.

The Travel Mart was jointly inaugurated by Secretary Tourism Shahid Rafi, High Commissioner Lt Gen (Retd) Tahir Mehmud Qazi and Director General of Tourism Board Malaysia Dato Mirza Muhammad Tayyab Beg.

The event was attended by senior officials of Malaysian Ministry of Tourism, Malaysian Tourism Board, Malaysian Association of Travel and Tour and Tour Agents, Malaysian Airlines and the Commonwealth Tourism Centre in Kuala Lumpur besides nearly a hundred leading tour and travel agents of Malaysian
