Philippine Airlines boosts services to Australia

Philippine Airlines will be increasing its services to Australia from three flights a week to five times weekly starting from 26 November. The additional services will meet the expected increase in travel to the Philippines during the upcoming holidays.

The two additional weekly services will be operated using the Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the Melbourne-Sydney-Manila and Sydney-Melbourne-Manila routes.

From Melbourne, flight PR209 will depart on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 7:45am to arrive in Sydney at 10:35am. The aircraft will then proceed to Manila at 11:45am.

Flight PR211 on the other hand will depart Sydney at 9:30pm and leave for Manila from Melbourne at 12:20 midnight.

Upon arrival in Manila, passengers will have convenient onward connections to domestic destinations within the Philippines as well as across North and Southeast Asia and the US West Coast.
