Superferry, Cebu Pacific cut fares

This early, shipping company SuperFerry and budget airline Cebu Pacific are wooing holiday travelers.

“Book your trips early to enjoy bigger savings,” said Andrew Deyto, SuperFerry assistant vice president for sales and marketing.

SuperFerry has just announced its last Todo-Todo Sail Sale for the year that will run until Sept. 22. The sailing period is from Oct. 1 to Dec. 15, 2007.

A ticket from Manila to the Visayas now sells for P599; while a ticket from Manila to Mindanao sells for P799.

“Our open-dated tickets will give our customers the opportunity to take advantage of our sale prices with the flexibility of confirming their travel dates at a later time. On top of that, customers continue to have the benefit of a larger allowance,” Deyto said.

Meanwhile, budget carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) slashed year-round “Go” fares for most of its regional routes.
