VN, Cambodia, Laos: jewels of the Mekong

The Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has said that the theme for this year’s tourism exhibition in HCM City is Unveil the Jewels of the Mekong as Three Countries One Destination, a reference to Viet Nam, Cambodia, and Laos.

The ITE (International Travel Exhibition) HCM City 2007 will kick off at the Phu Tho Exhibition Centre with an International Buyers Programme on October 4, and go on until the seventh.

VNAT will have a large booth to showcase Viet Nam’s destinations and charms, together with 18 provincial tourism departments. Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism and Laos’s National Tourism Administration will send delegations to the event for tourism exchanges with the other countries and 120 international buyers from 22 countries and territories.
