Travel Expert and Author Announces Tour to Bhutan
Experience travel to Bhutan with travel expert and author, Beth Whitman. This exclusive tour, organized through Wild Card Adventures, will take place from April 8th through April 19th, 2008 and will explore village life, religious festivals and the spectacular landscape and architecture of this little-known country in the Himalayas.

With only 18,000 people visiting Bhutan in 2006, few travelers have yet discovered this gem in the mountains tucked between India and China. This tour is open to just twelve people and is an opportunity for individuals to enjoy an intimate and inside look at this remote region.

The group will visit Bhutan’s most famous Buddhist temples, sacred sites and museums, attend festivals with elaborately costumed monks, trek through the stunning mountains and meet the local people with an opportunity for a homestay.
