Tourism association honors country's top hotels, tour operators
The Vietnam Tourism Association named Saigontourist Travel Service Company, Apex Viet Nam, Vietnamtourism’s Hanoi office, Diethelm Travel (Vietnam), Ben Thanh Tourist Service, Fiditourist, Vietravel, Peace Tour, Huong Giang Travel, and Vidotour as the country's top 10 travel agencies.
Ben Thanh, Majestic, Caravelle, and De Nhat (First) in Ho Chi Minh city, the Melia, Sofitel Metropole, Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, and the Nikko in Hanoi, Furama in Danang, and Ana Mandara in Nha Trang were named the ten best hotels.
Nguyen Phu Duc, chairman of the tourism association, said the companies were well-run businesses which made outstanding contributions to the tourism industry.
The prizes, awarded by the Vietnam Tourism Association and newswire Dan Tri, have been handed out annually since 1999.
