The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) said today that 530,000 more visitors came from Singapore to Malaysia from January to June to rank second, while Indonesia was third with 326,000 more visitors going to Malaysia in the same period. Top was from South Korea to China, recording an increase of 550,000 arrivals, Japan to China was fourth with an increase of 205,000, and Taiwan to China was fifth with 187,000. The Bangkok-based PATA said Malaysia was enjoying a record-breaking Visit Malaysia Year 2007, with arrivals of 10.7 million, a 24.8 per cent increase over January-June 2006.
