Discovery Travel & Living's 'World Cafe Asia' visits India

After showcasing the distinctive and delectable street food of some of the most visited cities of Asia including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok, Discovery Travel and Living’s (DTL) series World Café: Asia arrives in India.

In India, the show host Bobby Chinn will escort viewers to experience a variety of well-known and delicious dishes.

Presenting Indian cuisine alongside the rest of Asia, Chinn's first stop in India will be the holy city of Amritsar, which is known for its rich curries and the lavish use of butter, cream and ghee. Chinn will go through the lanes of Amritsar to experience its food and culture with a visit to the traditional Kesar da Dhaba, witness the cooking of Langar at the Golden Temple and enjoy the world-famous 'Tandoori Chicken'.

Bobby’s next stop will be the pink city, Jaipur, one of India’s biggest tourist attractions. In Jaipur, Chinn will cook khich millet, a popular grain based breakfast dish at Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur. He will also visit 'Chokhi Dhani', an ethnic village set-up and meet the owner of Narain Niwas Palace hotel to try out some of the traditional dishes and food recipes.
